How do I know if Alisha Care Home is the right care home for my relative?

We recommend that you come and have a look around. Choosing a care home for a relative is a little bit like choosing a house to buy – you will probably be able to tell whether our environment is suitable for your relative, by visiting us, and talking to our staff and other residents and getting a feel for the home.

What's include in the care fees that Alisha Care Home House charges?

Our fees include all costs associated with accommodation, care, food, 24 hours nursing care, alternate day doctor check up, laundry, house keeping, security and our extensive programme of organised activities and entertainments.

Can my relative come and try Alisha Care Home out before making a decision a live there permanently?

Yes, of course. You are welcome to come and try our home for at least one month, before you can make a commitment to continue for longer periods as required. This "trial" stay will give your relative an opportunity to try us out, and give you and your family peace of mind and time, before making this life changing decision.

What is the admission procedure?

The prescribed Application Form with all necessary enclosures needs to be signed and submitted, which you can either collect personally from our office. You can also request this from info@ashirwadh.com

When can friends and relatives visit?

Visiting hours are from 9.00 AM - 12.00 PM and 4.00 PM - 7.00 PM.

Can my relative bring items of furniture from home?

Yes, if they would like to. We are happy for your relative to personalise their room with their own pictures and ornaments, and larger items of furniture and belongings if they would like to. All our bedrooms are individually decorated and fully furnished to a high standard. We provide a wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table and bedside lighting.

What if I fall sick and need an emergency care?

We have made suitable arrangements have been made with reputed hospitals nearby should any kind of emergency medical care is required.

What are the cleaning and house keeping arrangements available?

We have cleaning Staff to carry out dry and wet cleaning of the rooms and toilets once every day.

Is there any provision for providing temporary accommodation, food, etc to my visitor / guest?

When residents have visitors from a distant place and have come with the sole purpose of meeting the inmate, with no alternate arrangement to stay, in which case we will consider allowing accommodation for a maximum of one day.

What does my relative need to bring with them?

They will need to bring personal clothing (including; night clothes and slippers), their personal toiletries and all their medication. Please remember their glasses, hearing aid or walking stick.

Do you offer respite stays?

Yes we do. We are happy to accommodate respite stays. The minimum stay is two weeks.

Do you cater for special diets?

Yes we do. We are happy to accommodate any dietary requirements your relative may have.
